ADDITIONAL N100M IS APPROVED BY GOV. UMO ENO FOR THE CONTINUATION OF BURSARY PAYMENT

The distribution of an additional amount of One Hundred Million Naira (N 100,000,000.00) for the continuance of student bursaries to verified students of Akwa Ibom origin in public tertiary institutions has been approved by His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State.It should be mentioned that, for the present academic session (2023/2024), this is merely an extension of the bursary payment process that started on Monday, November 20, 2023. 

First-come, first-served students who have been verified and are awaiting payment will begin getting their checks today, while students who have successfully completed verification have already begun receiving their payments.

Additionally, students who have previously applied and paid should not resubmit, as should those who cannot be verified or have not been verified yet.

The current bursary payment procedure is set to end at midnight on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, having started on Monday, November 20, 2023. Thus, before the portal expires on April 30, students of Akwa Ibom descent enrolled in postsecondary institutions have plenty of opportunity to register.

Any website that diverges from this official gateway and purports to manage bursary payments should be avoided.
